    I've suffered with chronic treatment-resistant depression, OCD & anxiety since high school - over 35 years. In all that time, few days have gone by where I've not thought about suicide. Sometimes contemplating it is the only thing that calms me down. And the only thing that seems to help are videos of suicide-attempt survivors telling their stories, bc I feel they are the only ones who can understand. So, thank you for this video.

    50 hours is 5km/h overall average, i wonder if it would be easier to calmly walk at 5km an hour without sleep than jogging it.

    I run with loop earplugs since there aren't any parks nearby and my route is on a busy road. Helps me focus a bit more on my breathing and heartbeat.

    Definitely an odd question, but when it comes to double training days and showers, what’s your best advice e.g. shampoo both times, etc

    Your body is telling you that it needs a rest. Your age will help things but you can’t do all the endurance stuff you do without the body fully recovered. At 90kilos and aiming for sub 3 hours you should be eating as much as you want ( healthily) and you should be struggling to keep weight on. I wish you good luck in the endeavour and hope you achieve it. Listen to your body.

    On the stones, I’d recommend moving closer to the platform (so close that you have to kind of tuck your head in so you don’t knock yourself out), and then you should be able to load the stone at the top of the triple extension without moving your feet at all. When you’ve lapped the stone, bring your knees in a bit closer together. Won’t make a Mmmmmm much difference at 90kg but you’ll be grateful once you reach that 150kg.

    6’ 190-200ish lbs, the part about not over striding is very important as my knees had been killing me for a while until I realized what I was doing. Now I feel I can run on back to back days with no pain what so ever.

    Been a Vivo wearer for 6+ years. Great shoes and generally last me for 2 years or more. Never had issues with breaking in my foot when getting away from main stream footwear but decades worth of sports activities and gym time have given me strong feet and ankles. Great video here and well sorted. Expensive footwear yup they are but worth every penny for what they do.

    I recently sold my QR PR5 (rim brakes and 25 mm tires) because it felt awful on bumpy surfaces and downhill, even on the race course. I have always found my Cervelo Caledonia, which has disc brakes and 28mm tires, superior overall. I am not sure if I want to go back to a triathlon bike

      I believe it's to get the heavier reps in earliest while fresh and get some nutrition and fluids in while recovering a bit before the running so you can get the most out of it!

    This is great. The variable model seems so much more natural and gives my brain a load more freedom, because I don't have to worry about recalibrating over a longer term if I do more or less than I had planned in a day or even a week. Because every day is all about eating back what was spent that week. That approach has seen me maintain for more than 2 years after yo-yoing for my first 50 years and then losing 7 and a half stone to get to where I want to be, all while getting quicker and stronger using a hybrid model that has 2 base sessions a week of either strength or endurance and a further 2 sessions that I tweak every 3 months for either speed, endurance, or strength. I've been with your channel throughout.
